I was up at the vacation house in northern Michigan this past weekend and the massive storm that blew through took out my flag pole (and later a tree, that rocked me out of bed but that's a story for another time). So, I ran out to fetch the flag so it didn't end up miles away, I wanted to lay it out somewhere to dry, and I'm not a dang communist so I certainly wasn't going to lay it on the ground... The roof of my car seemed like the flatest/driest available surface. I turned around as I was about to close the garage and it hit me, I just made a modern General Lee, I coo coo'd to myself and went inside. Yes I'm aware it's the wrong flag, wrong color, and a bastardized remake of the 60s Charger. I'm also aware the car was made in Canada and doesn't deserve to have the 'merican flag near it, but I thought it was funny and wanted to share.

Looks good. I enjoy seeing the British Union Flag on top of cars, more so when they are to in the U.K. or a common wealth nation, but it's more pride when I see it in the U.K. or common wealth nation.
The silly thing is when I see people burning it in protest (invariably in a middle eastern country), they say they are burning my flag (which I don't like them doing), but then I think. Actually you are burning your flag, you bought it, you went to a fellow country man and when asked if you needed help you said "I want a British Union Flag" and gave him your money, now add to the fact one of your fellow country saw sufficient market in it to make a Union Flag in the first place, now ask him how many he makes of his own country. Thats right, The Union Flag is making your country money, your country is gaining from the Union Flag. So I say to these people wanting to burn the Union Flag, look at the irony and watch your money go up in flames. The flag is a symbol of my country, your not harming my country by burning the flag, you are stiffening the resolve to end you burning the flag.

Haha the roof of that car might look pretty sweet with a flag on it. Painted or Vinyl'd on there. It goes well with the paint job.

Haha, I think that would be a bit too gaudy/flashy for my tastes...
